Norm Glenewinkel asked me to design a new logo and a new two page ad for the Racing Pigeon Digest. As the new logo was very clean and crisp, I wanted to keep his ad also very uncluttered. To accomplish that, I decided to only have the birds and their eyes in color, and keep the rest in black and white. I like the contrast very much, and this ad has been very successful for him. He also decided to run this same 2 page spread in the IF Skytalk for 2004. |
