Ron Steinbrenner, the handler and creator of the San Diego Triple Crown came to me to create something special for his up coming 15th year anniversary of holding the Triple Crown Classic. With a name using the word "Crown", I felt like I needed to make it appear gold, and have some sparkle. I also used the 15 year as a backdrop for the ad in a pleasing sky blue filled with race birds coming in for a landing. Ron liked it, and had calls within days of the time it ran in the AU Yearbook. |
